Summary:

  • Claims to boost energy and suppress appetite

  • Marketed as an alternative to Phentermine and other prescription diet pills

  • Most ingredients in Phen P-375 are unproven

  • Product has a balance of positive and negative reviews
  • Phen P-375 is a non-prescription dietary supplement for weight loss. It claims to offer users advanced appetite suppression, a boosted metabolism and thermogeinc fat burning to promote healthy weight loss. This product was cleverly marketed with the word “Phen” in its name to attract individuals seeking an OTC weight loss pill alternative to the diet drug phentermine.

When this review was written, Phen P-375 did not have an official website or product page. The only place where this product appears to be available for purchase online is Amazon, where it sells for $39.97. Due to the fact that its availability is limited, this could mean that this product will soon be discontinued.

As for its ingredients, the Phen P-375 formula is composed of: Green coffee bean extract (50% chlorogenic acid), green tea extract (tea polyphenol 50%), garcinia cambogia (50% HCA), glucomannan, raspberry ketone, african mango, grapefruit extract, acai berry extract, apple cider vinegar extract.

The only ingredient in this formula that has any clinical evidence for being beneficial as a weight loss aid is green tea. However, due to the number of ingredients in this pill, it is unlikely that users would receive the necessary quantities of green tea for it to have any real positive effect on their weight management efforts. Furthermore, considering a supplement facts sheet was not available for Phen P-375 when this review was written, it is unknown how much of the ingredient is in each dose.

Beyond providing an energy boost, there is no proof that this product will help a person to lose weight.

As for side effects, users should be advised that this product contains caffeine, which is found in both green coffee bean and green tea. Due to this fact, there is the potential for certain side effects, such as insomnia, jitters, headache, gastrointestinal upset, rapid heartbeat, restlessness, etc. Speaking of gastrointestinal upset, this product also contains glucomannan, an unproven fat blocker that is a fiber, which expands in the stomach when it absorbs water. Gas, bloating, constipation and diarrhea are possible side effects of glucomannan. Moreover, in order for this ingredient to be taken properly, sufficient water needs to be ingested to make sure it expands in the stomach and not in other parts of the body where it can cause blockages.

Users are instructed to take 2 capsules on an empty stomach with an 8 ounce glass of water, 30 to 60 minutes prior to meals.

Prior to taking Phen P-375, it would be best to err on the side of caution and first speak with your medical practitioner.
