However, unlike phentermine, this dietary supplement designed for weight loss promises that not only will it help to reduce food cravings and appetite as well as increase energy, but it also supposedly helps you lose weight while you sleep.

    The Phen Thin MAX formula is composed of a proprietary blend that includes: Bauhinia Purpurea L. Extract, Garcina Cambogia, Norcoclaurine HCI, Hemerocallis Fulva Heat Concentrated Extract, Yohimbe Extract. The formula also contains Caffeine. Each serving (1 capsule) contains 140 mg of the proprietary blend and 135 mg of Caffeine.

    This product contains several ingredients that can be found in many OTC weight loss products including bauhinia purpurea L., which is believed to boost the body’s metabolism and ability to burn calories. It also contains garcinia cambogia, which is believed to prevent the body from making fat and aids in appetite suppression. Norcoclaurine HCl and Hemerocallis Fulva Heat Concentrate are both thermogenics that supposedly help to burn fat through heat energy. Yohimbe and caffeine boost energy, with caffeine also acting as a thermogenic that may even help to suppress appetite.

    The suggested dose is to start with 1 capsule for the first three days, which should be taken on an empty stomach before breakfast. On the fourth day, users can increase their dose to 2 pills (the first on an empty stomach prior to breakfast and the second to be taken 6 – 8 hours after breakfast). On the fifth or sixth day, users can increase their dosage to the maximum 3 pills per day (2 pills in the morning and 1 in the evening). For best results, Phen Thin MAX is meant to be taken in conjunction with a calorie-conscious diet and regular exercise.

    There is no clinical evidence that Phen Thin MAX will lead to measurable fat loss or any fat loss at all. Caffeine has been scientifically proven to boost mental alertness and can help to increase fat burning when combined with physical activity, but there is no clinical research that proves it will actually cause weight loss.

    Furthermore, it is unlikely that this pill will help you lose weight while you sleep. On the contrary, it is more likely that you will suffer from insomnia! One serving of this product contains more caffeine than what is in an average cup of coffee.
