  • Over-the-counter (OTC) weight loss diet pill

  • Claims “extreme weight loss and appetite suppression”

  • Contains all-natural ingredients

  • Increase metabolism, burn fat, and break away fat cells
  • PhenELITE is an over-the-counter (OTC) weight loss diet pill. According to the label on the bottle of this dietary supplement, it provides “extreme weight loss & appetite suppression.” It claims to contain all-natural ingredients and to be a “strong potent formula”.

The Benefits it Promises to Provide

The manufacturers behind PhenELITE are certainly not modest. They claim that this supplement:

    • Increases metabolism
    • Burns fat
    • Breaks away fat cells
    • Minimizes food cravings
    • Helps to suppress the appetite.

In other words, the supposed benefits of taking PhenELITE is that you can lose weight, quickly and safely and feel the effects in days.

A Look Inside the Formula – PhenELITE Ingredients

As is the case with all weight management aids sold over the counter, how beneficial they may be in terms of supporting an individual’s weight loss strategy and goals, depends on the ingredients within its formula.

In the case of PhenELITE, the formula is composed of a proprietary blend of:

    • Raspberry Ketone,
    • Green Coffee Bean,
    • Caffeine Anhydrous,
    • Green Tea Extract,
    • Garcinia Cambogia

Additional non-active ingredients include: vegetable magnesium stearate, silica, rice flour and gelatin. It is worth noting in this PhenElite review that due to the fact that the pills contain gelatin, they are not vegetarian or vegan-friendly.

Common Ingredient Claims in Support of Weight Loss

This product contains several ingredients that are used in other OTC weight loss pills. Although this may sound like positive news, the trouble is that none of these ingredients have ever been clinically proven safe or effective for weight loss.

Worse still, it is well-known that the fat loss claims associated with more than one of these ingredients, such as raspberry ketone, garcinia cambogia, and green coffee bean, have been exaggerated by celebrities, like Dr. Oz.

With that in mind, the following are some of the claims that have been made about these ingredients regarding their effectiveness for aiding in fat loss.

    • Caffeine anhydrous is believed to boost metabolism and suppress appetite
    • Green coffee bean and raspberry ketone are said to be metabolism boosters and are regarded as effective fat burners.
    • Green tea extract is an antioxidant and energy booster.
    • Garcinia cambogia is believed to inhibit fat production, helping to prevent the absorption of fat in the body.

However, as was previously stated, despite all of the claims that have been made about these ingredients, not enough scientific evidence exists to backup their ability to aid in or cause measurable weight loss. Therefore, what this means is that there is no guarantee that taking PhenELITE will help a person to lose weight.

    Possible Stimulant Side Effects

Something else to keep in mind about PhenELITE is that it contains multiple stimulants. Since this is the case, this increases the risk of adverse side effects. Among these include (but are not necessarily limited to):

    • Rapid heartbeat
    • Nausea
    • Mood swings
    • Jitters
    • Insomnia

This dietary supplement should be avoided by pregnant women and nursing mothers. Anyone taking medication, with a medical condition or who has never taken this product before, should first consult with their physician before taking it.

It is always a good idea to consult with your healthcare provider before taking PhenELITE or any dietary supplement for daily use, regardless of your reasons for taking it – weight loss or otherwise. This is not only for your own safety and wellbeing, but also to make sure that you won’t be wasting your money or time on something that will provide you with no benefit.

A bottle of PhenELITE (60 capsules) cost $22.99 at the time this review was written. The recommended dose is to take 1 or 2 capsules a half hour before meals. This diet pill was meant to be used in combination with a healthy diet and exercise regime.

UPDATE: PhenELITE was no longer available directly through Amazon and was available only through a third-party seller for purchase as of July 2019. This fact, and due to this product’s overall lack of existence online, could be an indication that it has been discontinued by the manufacturer or may have been rebranded.
