  • Phentaslim is a “maximum strength” fat burner

  • Dietary supplement from Optimum Nutra Inc.

  • Claims to boost metabolism and energy levels for longer

  • Promises to control hunger and cravings
  • Phentaslim is a “maximum strength” fat burner that apparently does more than just burn fat. According to the official product page, this dietary supplement from Optimum Nutra Inc. also boosts metabolism, increases energy levels for longer, and suppresses appetite. For best weight loss results while taking this product, it is recommended that you combine it with exercise and a balanced healthy diet.

Users are instructed to take 1 capsule 20 minutes prior to breakfast with water and then 20 minutes prior to lunch with water. When this review was written, a one-month supply (60 capsules), cost $59.95 and was backed by a 30-day, money-back guarantee.

The Phentaslim formula is made up of the following ingredients: Thiamin (Vitamin B1), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Zinc, Niacin, L-Carnitine, Raspberry Ketones, L-Tyrosine, Caffeine Anhydrous, Green Tea (4:1 extract), Guarana Seed, Panax Ginseng Root, Cayenne.

The ingredients within Phentaslim have been scientifically researched to test their effectiveness for weight loss. Some studies have found that caffeine anhydrous can result in appetite suppression, increased mental focus, and helps to boost metabolism. Other research has shown that green tea and cayenne can help increase thermogenesis and help with fat burning, while guarana seed can increase mood, memory, alertness, and boost energy.

That being said, in spite of what some clinical trials have found, unfortunately, there is no solid evidence that proves any of these ingredients can effectively cause weight loss. Hence, there is no guarantee that this product will cause or aid in weight loss.

On a positive note, it is refreshing to see that this product does not contain synephrine or citrus aurantium (bitter orange), which contains synephrine. The reason being is that this stimulant has been linked to adverse effects in some people, such as stroke and heart attack, especially when combined with caffeine.

However, be that as it may, Phentaslim still contains multiple stimulants (caffeine, gurana) and this can increase the risk of certain negative side effects like sleeplessness, jitters, anxiety, headache, etc. Furthermore, this product also contains panax ginseng root, which can also cause insomnia, an effect that may be heightened by caffeine. Therefore, it is prudent to avoid or limit your intake of caffeinated foods and beverages while taking this product to reduce your risk of adverse effects.

Also, it would be wise to first speak with your healthcare provider before taking Phentaslim to make sure that it is the safe and the right choice for you.
