Summary:

  • Phentermene 37.5 is an herbal weight loss product

  • The name is nearly identical to the prescription medication Phentermine

  • It claims to be recommended and approved by a doctor

  • There are several red flags to be aware of regarding this product
  • Phentermene 37.5 is the “#1 Doctor Recommended and Approved Pharmaceutical Grade OTC Herbal Weight Loss Diet Pills.” At least it is according to its Amazon sales page. Claiming to be an appetite suppressant, energy booster and thermogenic fat burner, this dietary supplement from MD Pharma promises that you can lose up to 25 pounds per month with its clinically proven rapid weight loss ingredients.

There is no doubt that this sounds pretty impressive for an over-the-counter (OTC) diet pill that was obviously designed as a non-prescription alternative to the popular prescription diet drug Phentermine. Unfortunately its claims are all it has at the moment because there was no supplement facts or ingredients list provided for this product on Amazon where it was sold for $59.97 when this review was created.

There was also no official product page for Phentermene 37.5, which could mean that, even though you can still purchase these pills, the product may have been discontinued. The fact that a product was discontinued may not be cause for concern nor does it mean that it wasn’t necessarily effective. What is concerning is the fact that there are no ingredients listed.

While there is no telling what might be included in this formula, since one of the claims is that it is a fat burner and energy booster, it is likely that it contains caffeine anhydrous or an ingredient that contains caffeine such as green coffee bean or green tea. It may also contain other non-caffeinated stimulants, such as the popular synephrine, which is naturally found in bitter orange.

If it does contain stimulants, there is a risk of unpleasant side effects that may range from insomnia and jitters to anxiety and heart palpitations. That being said, it may include none of these ingredients. Regardless of this fact, don’t forget that all diet pills, no matter how “safe”, “natural” or “pharmaceutical grade quality” they may be, always have a risk of adverse effects.

While it is strongly recommended that you first speak with your healthcare provider before taking Phentermene 37.5, it would be even better not to take it at all. A lack of ingredients list and the fact that it can be found only on Amazon for sale with no other site providing detailed information about this supplement, raises too many red flags. It would be far better to consider another product that provides you with more than claims.
