LipaVex, from health and wellness company VH Nutrition, is composed of a natural fat burner formula. The claim for this dietary supplement is that it is a thermogenic hypermetabolizer that promotes fat metabolism, decreases body fat levels, enhances energy levels, and boosts thermogenesis.

When this review was created, LipaVex was composed of a Lipavex Proprietary Blend: Coleus Forskholii Root Extract, Fucoxanthin (Seaweed Extract), Garcinia Cambogia, Bitter Orange (synephrine), Green Tea, Tumeric, Ginger, Cassia Cinnamon, Black Pepper. Each serving size of this formula’s proprietary blend contained 1495 mg and 2 capsules made up a single serving.

For optimal results, users are instructed to take one serving (2 capsules) of LipaVex with 12 ounces of fluid in the morning and once again in the early afternoon. Users are cautioned that consuming caffeine or other stimulants while taking this dietary supplement may cause nervousness or hypertension.

The reason is that the formula contains synephrine, a stimulant that is naturally found in bitter orange. Synephrine can enhance the effects of caffeine, boosting the chance of adverse side effects (e.g. insomnia, rapid heartbeat, hypertension, etc.), even in healthy individuals who do not have sensitivity to stimulants.

As for the overall effectiveness of this product, it supposedly works with your body to decrease body fat and promote metabolic activity. If this is true, the potential thermogenic effects of LipaVex can help you burn fat when combined with a healthy workout. As for its possible appetite suppression effects, it could aid with weight loss by helping you control appetite so that you ingest fewer calories.

All that being said, there is no guarantee that LipaVex will help you lose weight. None of the ingredients in its formula have ever been proven by science to be effective or safe for weight loss. Furthermore, on the official product page, it states that LipaVex can “burn belly fat fast.” Statements like these bring the products integrity into question because there is absolutely no guarantee that it will specifically burn belly fat (if it causes any measureable fat loss at all).

LipaVex is meant for healthy adult men and women. Be that as it may, you should still consult with your healthcare provider before taking this dietary supplement. This is particularly important if you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition or are taking any medications. When it comes to your health and finding the best weight loss regimen, it is always best to err on the side of caution.

At the time that this review was written, Amazon sold LipaVex for $27.99.

Fen HCL Capsules

Fen HCL capsules is a non-prescription weight loss product designed to provide effective appetite suppression and hunger control as well as helps to control blood sugar levels. This product comes from FenHCL and should not be confused with the company’s other product Fen HCL Tablets. Although also designed for weight loss, the time-released tablet product contains a different formula.

Each white and blue capsule is formulated from all natural ingredients, which include: 20:1 Hoodia Extract, Guarana Extract and a Proprietary Blend of Cha De Bugre, Ginseng, Citrus Aurantium, Magnolia Bark Extract and Black Pepper.

At the time that this review was written, a one month supply of Fen HCL capsules sold on Amazon for $29.99.

The recommended dosage is to take 1 or 2 capsules on an empty stomach about 30 minutes prior to breakfast and another 1 or 2 capsules prior to lunch. Users are cautioned not take the pills too late in the day because the ingredients within the formula may cause sleeplessness. Users are also advised to first speak with their healthcare professional prior to taking this product or any supplement when starting any exercise or diet program.

How effective is Fen HCL. For starters, this OTC diet pill is meant to be used in conjunction with diet and exercise for optimal results. Secondly, its claim that it can cause appetite suppression is unfounded. None of the supposed appetite suppression-causing ingredients (ex. hoodia, cha de bugre) have been clinically proven to curb appetite.

As for the other ingredients, ginseng is believed to possibly help enhance immune system, reduce blood sugar levels, boost endurance and improve mood. Gurana, which contains caffeine, can improve mental alertness and fat burning. Magnolia bark is thought to help lower anxiety, which could reduce stress-related eating. Black Pepper helps the body to absorb ingredients more effectively and citrus aurantium – more commonly known as bitter orange – naturally contains the stimulant synephrine, which is believed to help breakdown fat and can boost the effectiveness of caffeine.

Unfortunately, while it is true that synephrine can boost the effectiveness of caffeine, it can also increase the risk of its negative side effects including insomnia, jitters, anxiety, rapid heartbeat, etc. Even worse, the FDA warns that combining caffeine with synephrine can also increase the risk of high blood pressure, stroke and heart attack, even in healthy individuals.

In addition to combining ingredients that together have the potential to produce dangerous side effects, there is not scientific proof that taking any of the ingredients as part of the Fen HCL capsule formula or individually, will lead to weight loss or help you shed measureable fat.

FedraBlaze is a non-prescription fat burner. Claimed to be a fast-acting thermogenic fat burner and intense metabolizer, this dietary supplement supposedly works to provide long-lasting energy, decreases appetite, burns excess body fat, enhances mental focus, and amplifies metabolism.

At the time this review was written, FedraBlaze was primarily sold on Amazon. There was no official product website for this diet pill. 60 liquid capsules cost $38.95.

According to the directions, users are instructed to take 1 capsule with 8-10 ounces of water, two times daily. On training days, users can double the dose and take up to 4 capsules a day. That being said, users are cautioned never to take more than 2 capsules in a four hour period and are not to take more than 4 capsules in a 24 hour period. Furthermore, while they are not provided with any specific time in which to take the pills, they are instructed not to take them within four hours of bedtime.

FedraBlaze contains many ingredients. The formula is divided into three separate blends including:

Energy Blend – Caffeine Anhydrous 99%, Xanthinol Nicotinate, Codonopsis Pilosula Extract. This blend apparently combines several energy boosting substances that dramatically amplify energy to make a user feel more physically active and mentally alert.

Heat Blend – Green Tea Leaf Extract, White Tea PE 50% Polyphenols, Inositol Hexaphosphate, Evodia rutaecarpa PE, Black Pepper PE 95%. This blend is supposedly specially formulated to burn a lot of fat by boosting metabolism. Fat is broken down by the compounds of this thermogenic blend, which is supposed to help get rid of unwanted body fat, fast.

Muscle Blend – Deanol Acetamidobenzoate (DMAE), Troxerutin, Cnidium Monnieri, Aspidosperma quebracho-blanco PE 0.3% Alkaloids, Inula Racemosa PE, White Willow Bark PE 25% Salicin, Yohimbe PE 8% Yohimbine HCl. The claim for this final blend is that it improves insulin sensitivity. The body stores less fat when less insulin is secreted after eating. This blend is said to assist users in becoming lean, toned, and helps to build muscle.

FedraBlaze sounds pretty impressive, but it is more talk than it is action. Like so many other diet pill products on the OTC weight loss market, this diet pill has not been clinically proven to effectively help with weight loss, nor has any of its ingredients.

What’s more, this product contains far too many ingredients for there to be enough quantities of each one of these ingredients to be effective at doing much of anything. That being said, however, there are enough stimulants in this product that the chances of experiencing stimulant-related side effects, such as insomnia, jitters, anxiety, heart palpitations, headache, upset stomach, etc., are significant. This is especially true for anyone who ingests caffeinated foods or beverages while taking this weight loss supplement or anyone who has sensitivities to stimulants.

Drinking sufficient water is also important while taking FedraBlaze because it is a thermogenic. This means it contains ingredients that can raise the temperature of your body, which can increase the risk of heat exhaustion and dehydration.

Prior to taking FedraBalze, you would be wise to speak with your medical practitioner.
