Thermo Pro

Thermo Pro is a thermogenic pre-workout fat burner that has been developed to provide both healthy adult men and women with the little extra boost that they need to get the most out of their workouts.

This dietary supplement comes from Promethean Wellness, which says that it is the “best Thermogenic Fat Burner on the market!” According to the company, Thermo Pro contains a blend of the most effective ingredients for weight loss that is available in a nonprescription formula. It claims that it will help you lose weight, burn fat, provide you with the needed boost for your workouts and supercharge your metabolism.

When this Thermo Pro review was written, the ingredients in the formula included: Green Tea Extract, Green Coffee Bean Extract, Raspberry Ketone, Olive Leaf Extract, Caffeine Anhydrous Powder, Bacopa Monnieri Extract, Garcinia Cambogia Extract, CLA Oil Powder, L-Theanine, Coleus Forskohlii Root Extract, Bioperine.

Many of these ingredients are touted for having metabolism-boosting, energy-boosting, thermogenic-enhancing and fat-burning effects. For instance, green tea, green coffee bean and caffeine are all believed to help with burning fat, energy boosting and increasing metabolism, especially when combined with cardio workouts.

Garcinia cambogia is thought to help with appetite suppression and block the body’s ability to store fat. Raspberry ketone is thought to be a powerful antioxidant that may also help to cause the fat within cells to be broken down more effectively, which can help improve fat burning.

That being said, while these and many of the other ingredients within the Thermo Pro formula have been studied and are linked to weight loss claims, the reality is that all claims made in regard to these ingredients and their weight loss benefits are unsubstantiated. There is no clinical proof that taking any of these ingredients will lead to measurable fat loss. As such, you should not expect Thermo Pro to magically melt off excess weight, or even help you to achieve your weight loss goals, as there is no evidence that it can live up to its claims.

Be that as it may, the suggested use is to take 1 to 3 capsules daily, either before meals or 30 minutes prior to a workout. It is recommended that you first assess your tolerance by taking 1 capsule per day. If after assessing your tolerance you would like to increase your dose, you can take a maximum of 3 capsules per day. It is recommended that you do not exceed this max dose.

It should also be noted that Thermo Pro contains 240 mg of caffeine per serving (3 capsules). Since this is the case, it is a good idea to avoid taking this diet pill late in the afternoon or too close to bedtime to avoid the chance of sleep disturbances. Moreover, it would be a good idea to avoid ingesting other beverages or foods containing caffeine or other stimulants while taking this dietary supplement. This will help to reduce the risk of unwanted side effects, such as jitters, anxiety, upset stomach, headache, heart palpitation, etc.

When this review was created, a bottle of Thermo Pro could be purchased on the official Promethean Wellness site for $15.00. Before taking Thermo Pro, it is a good idea to first speak with your healthcare provider.

Elite Burn

Elite Burn is a dietary supplement from Invictus Labs. It is a weight management complex that has been designed to help with metabolism, energy and fat burning. At the time that this review was written, a single bottle of Elite Burn (a one month supply) sold on Amazon for $19.99.

According to the supplement facts listed on the product label at the time that this review was created, Elite Burn is composed of a proprietary formula: Caralluma Fimbriata Extract, White Kidney Bean Extract, Forskolin, African Mango Extract, Garcinia Cambogia Extract, Green Coffee Bean Extract, Green Tea Extract, Moringa Extract, Raspberry Ketone.

There is 1008 mg of the proprietary formula per a single serving size (2 capsules). The suggested use is to take 2 capsules daily.

According to the product description on Amazon, the effectiveness of every ingredient in the formula has been research and tested. It also states that every ingredients is “included at proper doses to ensure maximum results.” Unfortunately, there is no way to know for certain if this is true, since the amount of each ingredient hasn’t been revealed in the supplement facts. In short, there is no proof beyond the claims made by the manufacturer that Elite Burn is effective, safe or that proper doses have been included.

While it is true that all the ingredients have been scientifically studied, there is a huge difference between an ingredient that has been scientifically studied for weight loss and one that has been scientifically proven effective. None of these ingredients have been proven safe or effective for causing weight loss.

In regard to how these ingredients supposedly help with weight loss, the belief is that caralluma fimbriata, African mango, and garcinia cambogia help with appetite suppression, while green tea, green coffee bean, and forskolin are believed to help with fat burning. White kidney bean extract is thought to help block a percentage of carbohydrates, moringa and raspberry ketone are high in antioxidants, and garcinia cambogia may also help to block the production of fat.

As impressive as all of this sounds, remember that there is no actual proof that these substances will produce these effects. What’s more, there is no way of knowing how much of each of these ingredients is in the formula, which further calls their effectiveness into question.

As for side effects, the most common is likely to be digestive upset. On the plus side, there is no added caffeine in this product, so you shouldn’t need to worry about unwanted stimulant-related side effects, which are common in many of the top weight loss tablets.

Still, it’s always a good idea to consult with your healthcare provider before making any dietary supplement a regular part of your lifestyle.

PhenMax 375

PhenMax 375 is an “extra strong thermogenic fat burner and appetite suppressant”. Promising rapid weight loss, this USA made over-the-counter diet pill contains a blend of ingredients that are supposedly clinically proven to help you lose body fat safely and at a rate that is far quicker than if you were to engage in only diet and exercise alone.

Unfortunately, like so many other diet pills on the market that have been created as OTC alternatives to weight loss drugs like Phentermine, PhenMax 375 is unlikely to help you lose weight. What it will likely do is boost your energy, which will be explained in more detail when the ingredients are analyzed.

Each capsule is composed of the PhenMax 375-60 Proprietary Blend: B-Phenylethylamine HCL, Green Tea, Garcinia Cambogia Extract, Guarana, L-Carnitine Fumarate and Carlluma Extract.

One confusing aspect in regard to this product is the dosage instructions found on its label. Although one serving (765mg) is made up of 2 capsules, the recommended dose is to take only 1 capsule on an empty stomach 30 minutes prior to breakfast. Users are cautioned not to exceed the recommended dosage. However, if only one pill should be taken, it is odd that the manufacturer listed 2 capsules as one serving.

As for the ingredients themselves, here’s what you should keep in mind. Garcinia cambogia is thought to curb hunger. Phenylethylamine (PEA) is a stimulant that works to boost mental alertness and suppress appetite. L-carnitine fumarate may help burn fat and decrease feelings of tiredness. Carlluma extract may help quench thirst and reduce hunger. Green tea boosts metabolism and is high in antioxidants. Guarana is also a metabolism booster and may also improve mental focus.

The reality of PhenMax 375 is that it is little more than a caffeine pill. It contains caffeine (found in both green tea and guarana), which stimulates the central nervous system. Caffeine has been clinically proven to boost mental alertness. Some studies have also found that when combined with physical activity, caffeine can increase fat burning for a short time. That being said, keep in mind, caffeine has never been clinically proven to cause weight loss. Furthermore, it may also not be safe for everyone.

In addition to its good side effects, caffeine has many unpleasant ones as well. Sleeplessness, restlessness, upset stomach, headache and rapid heartbeat are some that may be experienced. It would be wise to avoid ingesting other caffeinated products while taking this pill and to consult your healthcare provider before making it part of our weight loss plan.

At the time that this review was written, a single bottle (60 capsules) cost $26.55 on Amazon.
