Phenduce RX is a nonprescription diet pill from Kerl Pharma. It claims to be a “clinically dosed weight loss aid .” Its “Rapid acting dual phase caplets” supposedly help with appetite suppression, energy boosting and metabolism enhancement.
Based on the name of this over-the-counter (OTC) diet pill, it’s clear that it has been marketed as a non-prescription diet pill alternative to prescription diet drug phentermine. This isn’t only made evident by the “phen” in its name but also by the use of “RX” which is the term for medical prescription, which to be clear, Phenduce RX is not.
The fact that the manufacturer has used the term “RX” is an immediate red flag and draws the integrity of both the company and its product into question. This dietary supplement does not contain pharmaceutical ingredients, it is not FDA approved, and it is not “clinically dosed.” Phenduce RX has not been studied to determine its effects on those who take it. There is no clinical proof that this product is effective or safe for weight loss.
That being said, here’s a look at the ingredients within its formula: Caffeine Anhydrous, Phenduce Compound Formula (7-Dimethylxanthine, 4-(4-Hydroxyphenyl)-2-butanone, B-Phenethylamine HCl, Aphrodine HCl, Mentha Piperita).
The ingredients in the Phenduce Compound Formula may look unique, but they aren’t. The more commonly used names for these above listed ingredients are: Theobromine (7-Dimethylxanthine), Raspberry Ketone (4-(4-Hydroxyphenyl)-2-butanone), Phenylethylamine HCl (B-Phenethylamine HCl), Yohimbe (Aphrodine HCl), and Peppermint (Mentha Piperita). It is likely that the manufacturer has simply listed the less common names because they sound more “clinical” and “RX.”
The suggested use is to take 1 caplet in the morning and another caplet 4-5 hours later. Users are cautioned to avoid taking a dose late in the evening, especially if they are sensitive to stimulants as they may experience difficulty sleeping. Users are also cautioned not to take more than 1 caplet at a time and to never exceed 3 caplets per day.
Even if you are not sensitive to stimulants, it is possible to experience negative side effects from taking Phenduce RX, such as sleeplessness, anxiety, jitters, heart palpitations, rapid heartbeat, headache, etc. The risk of these effects can be increased if you should ingest foods or beverages that contain caffeine or other stimulants while taking this diet pill.
When this Phenduce RX review was written, a single bottle could be purchased on Amazon for $36.99.
Nevertheless, it would be wise to first speak with your healthcare provider prior to taking this diet pill, or to perhaps consider investing in a more honest brand and supplement to help you with your weight management efforts.
