PhenFire 375

PhenFire 375 is a powerful thermogenic weight loss management supplement that can be purchased without a prescription. According to its official product page, it is “fast becoming the Number 1 Replacement for ‘Phen’ products.”

A Formula with Stimulant, Thermogenic and Diuretic Ingredients

PhenFire 375 has been “specially formulated” with three types of ingredients – stimulants, thermogenics, and diuretics – to reduce body fat. More specifically, each pill contains:

  • 1,3,7, Trimethylxanthine
  • N-Methyltyramine
  • Taraxicum
  • Bioperine
  • Capsicum
  • Vitamin B Complex (vitamins B1, B5, B6, B12)

Each of these ingredients was selected because they are believed to provide certain benefits to individuals seeking weight loss.

For instance, 1,3,7 trimethylxanthine, which is just a fancy way of saying caffeine anhydrous – or simply caffeine – is a stimulant that research has found can boost energy and improve mental alertness. Some research has even found it to have reduced hunger in some people.

N-Methyltyramine is believed to encourage the release of norepinephrine, which helps to support energy levels and enhances metabolic rate. Bioperine and capsicum help to encourage thermogensis, which is a process that uses fat cells to boost body heat. B vitamins are said to assists with fat burning. Taxicum is a diuretic, which helps to expel excess water from the body.

Aside from caffeine being proven to improve alertness and energy, there is no solid clinical evidence that any of these ingredients will assist in weight loss. Unfortunately, this means that there is no guarantee that PhenFire 375 is an effective product for weight loss.

Negative Effects of Which You should Be Aware

Due to the fact that PhenFire 375 contains caffeine, as well as thermogenics and a diurectic, there is the potential for some negative side effects. For starters, caffeine increases the risk of:

  • Insomnia
  • Jitters
  • Anxiety
  • Heart palpitations
  • Mood swings
  • Headache

These adverse effects are a particularly a risk for individuals who are sensitive to this stimulant or who ingest other caffeinated products (ex. cola, coffee, tea, energy drinks), while taking PhenFire 375.

Another major issue is this pill’s diuretic factor. When taking diuretics, the major risk is dehydration and heat stroke, which can occur from not ingesting enough water to compensate for the amount you are losing. Furthermore, the risk of dehydration is higher with this product because not only does it contain an actual diuretic, which will naturally encourage the body to rid itself of excess water via urination, but caffeine can also be a diuretic, when too much is ingested. This, coupled with its thermogenic properties, means that likely the biggest risks when taking PhenFire 375 is dehydration and overheating. Take care to stay well hydrated if you take this product.

Other Things to Consider

Furthermore, it is important to point out that when taking diuretics you are likely to lose a build up of excess water which can lead to a quicker slimmer appearance and a few pounds reduction on the scale. Do keep in mind that losing water is not the same as losing fat. Water weight fluctuates and you will continue to lose and gain it.

PhenFire 375 is meant to be used in conjunction with diet and exercise. Talk to your doctor before taking this weight loss supplement.

PhenFire 375 Update June 2020

PhenFire 375 is off the market. At least, it was not available for sale online in the US as of June 2020. Clearly this product that was once “fast becoming the Number 1 Replacement for ‘Phen’ products” didn’t have what it took to stick around for the long term.

To be honest, this doesn’t come as much of a surprise considering there is absolutely nothing within this formula that stands out as being unique or revolutionary. At the end of the day, it was just another diet pill in a long list of other unproven OTC weight management aids that tried to prove itself as a nonprescription Phentermine alternative and failed.

Ultimately, if you are interested in choosing a diet pill that is a nonprescription Phentermine alternative, what you need to understand is that this product does not exist. The best course of action is to look for a product that contains a limited number of scientifically researched ingredients, does not make false claims, and is manufactured by a reputable company that stands by its products and will offer you a full money-back guarantee if you’re not satisfied.

Phenbuterol

Phenburterol is marketed as a “maximum strength fat burning catalyst” and is a dietary supplement developed by MuscleMeds Performance Technologies. The manufacturer claims that this product introduces a new development in advanced fat burning technology by activating Uncoupling Protein 1 (UCP-1)

UCP-1 Fat Burning Technology

Phenbuterol claims to provide enhanced fat burning technology, which is made possible though the activation of UCP-1 (Uncoupling Protein 1). UCP-1 is said to increase fat burning in brown adipose tissues. Essentially, it supposedly stimulates a process in the body known as thermogenesis, which burns fat and calories as fuel to heat the body.

It is interesting to note that when this Phenbuterol review was created, the official product webpage states that “Phenbuterol is a trade name and is not intended to depict any comparison to any pharmaceutical or other product of any particular benefit thereof.” This is difficult to believe, because if the manufacturer was not intending to depict any comparison, it would have avoided using “Phen” within the product name, which automatically calls to mind the prescription diet pill Phentermine.

Phenbuterol Ingredients

The Phenbuterol formula contains the following ingredients:

  • Caffeine Anhydrous,
  • Ilex Paraguariensis Leaf Extract,
  • Grains of Paradise Seed Extract,
  • Rauwolfia Serpentia Extract,
  • Advantra Z (Citrus Aurantium Extract, N-methyltyramine, Octopamine, Hordenine, and Tyramine)

The official webpage for Phenbuterol does provide some information with regards to research that has been conducted on the ingredients that make up this fat burning product. The site also offers some basic information detailing how these various substances are meant to provide the promised benefits. However, when the links to the cited studies are followed, it rapidly becomes clear that there is very slim evidence supporting the claims that the manufacturer has made about the effectiveness of the formula.

More to the point, there is no clinical proof that the Phenbuterol formula will cause fat burning to any degree that will lead to measurable fat loss.

This Diet Pill May Be Unsafe

Another aspect that is concerning about this supposed fat burner is that the manufacturer doe not list any potential side effects of the formula, nor does it warn that side effects are possible. This is surprising to say the least, especially considering the number of stimulants in this product.

This does not speak to the willingness of that company to provide potential users with important information, as there are a number of ingredients within this formula that can lead to unwanted symptoms. To begin with, this product includes caffeine. This stimulant, which can be helpful in fat burning and energy boosting, is also associated with side effects such as sleep struggles, anxiety, restlessness, and jitters. Moreover, that substance can also increase blood pressure and heart rate.

This product also contains citrus aurantium, also known as bitter orange. That ingredient contains the stimulants synephrine and octopamine. Synephrine affects the nervous system, squeezing blood vessels, increasing blood pressure, and causing the heart to beat faster. Additionally, the combinations of synephrine and caffeine can increase blood pressure and heart rate, even in healthy adults.

As for Octopamine, it is a stimulant compound that is thought to have minor fat burning effects, although these effects have not been seen in humans. More importantly, octopamine was banned by the WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) for its stimulatory properties.

Due to the number of stimulants in this product, it is highly recommended that you speak with a doctor before considering the use of this weight loss pill. This is especially important if you have a known medical condition, are taking medications or other supplements, or are pregnant or nursing.

At the time that this review was created, a single box of Phenbuterol containing 30 capsules could be purchased for $29.99.

September 2019 Update: Phenbuterol can still be found for purchase online on various sites, including Walmart’s online store, although there it is currently listed as “out of stock.”  That being said, it appears as though this product has been either permanently discontinued by the manufacturer or it has been released under a new name as it is no longer listed on the official MuscleMeds site.

Lean 700

Lean 700 is a diet pill from GenXLabs. This dietary supplement has been designed to support appetite control, body fat loss, metabolism to burn more fat, and more calorie burning. Like prescription diet drug, Phentermine, this non-prescription weight management aid attempts to help a person in their efforts to suppress appetite and boost energy for the purpose of burning more fat and calories. That being said, GenXLabs does not claim that Lean 700 is a phentermine alternative.

When this Lean 700 review was written, the ingredients in the formula included: Vitamin B6, Chromium, GenXLabs Thermo (Dandelion Root, Caffeine Anhydrous, White Willow Bark, Green Tea Extract, Cissus Quadrangularis, L-Theanine, L-Carnitine, L-Tartrate, N-methyltyramine, Hordenine HCl, Higenamine HCl, Synephrine HCl).

The suggested use is to first assess tolerance by begin taking 1 capsule in the morning before food. Once tolerance has been assessed, the user may then take another (1) capsule, 4 to 6 hours after the first morning dose. It is recommended that users drink 16oz of water when taking a pill, and they are cautioned not to take a dose within 6 hours of bedtime and not to exceed more than 2 capsules daily.

In regard to its effectiveness, it is unknown if Lean 700 will deliver on any of the benefits it claims to provide (e.g. appetite suppression, boosted energy, etc.). The reason is that the product itself has not been clinically studied or proven effective. Furthermore, although many of its ingredients have been clinically studied, they have not been clinically proven effective for aiding in or causing weight loss, either.

That being said, a quick glance at the above ingredients reveals that it contains multiple diuretics and stimulants. This means that it is possible that you will lose water weight by taking Lean 700, as diuretics cause you to urinate more frequently. It also means that there is a chance you will experience a boost in mental alertness, due to the stimulant ingredients in the formula.

However, losing water weight is not the same as losing actual fat, and it is not a long-term weight loss solution. Moreover, although stimulants can be beneficial in helping you to stay alert, which could help you in your efforts to keep up with exercise, Lean 700 not only combines multiple stimulants but caffeine and synephrine.

Although synephrine does seem to boost the effects of caffeine, this means that it boosts its negative effects as well, potentially increasing the risk of unwanted effects, such as insomnia, jitters, anxiety, rapid heartbeat, and even more serious side effects like high blood pressure, stoke, and heart attack.

When this review was created, Lean 700 could be purchased on its official GenXLabs product page for $34.99.

It is strongly recommended that you first speak with your healthcare provider before taking Lean 700 if this diet pill is of interest to you.
