Phentra50 is a non-prescription food supplement. Its formula is comprised of ingredients that will supposedly help reduce fatigue and tiredness, help with normal metabolism of fatty acids, and provide regular carbohydrate metabolism. Based on the name of the product, it is clear that the manufacturer chose this name to draw association to the prescription weight loss drug, Phentermine.

Manufactured by Atom Labs, at the time this review was written, there was no official product page for Phentra50. However, the product could be purchased online for £14.99 ($23.00).

The Phentra50 formula is made up of the following ingredients: Beta-Alanine, Caffeine, Oxyphenylon, L-Phenylalanine, L-Tyrosine, Green Coffee Extract, Vitamin B3, Zinc, Vitamin B2, Vitamine B1.

The claim is that this formula will double the effects of the user’s weight loss efforts, boost exercise endurance and cognitive performance, and lower appetite to prevent unhealthy cravings.

Can it actually do what it says? The key ingredients in Phentra50 have been scientifically researched, and some have shown promise for being beneficial for weight loss. For example, oxyphenylon (raspberry ketone), is believed to be a potent fat burner, beta-alanine may reduce fatigue, caffeine might function as a fat burner, metabolism booster, and as a thermogenic, and green coffee extract is thought to aid the body in managing glucose levels, as well as prevent emotional cravings.

That being said, there is insufficient evidence that any of these ingredients are actually beneficial for weight loss specifically. More research needs to be conducted to determine just how effective (if at all) they actually are.

However, while there is no guarantee that Phentra50 will assist with a dieter’s weight loss efforts, it is likely that it will, at the very least, provide an energy boost, due to the fact that the product does contain caffeine. However, while this can be seen as an advantage, it can also be a disadvantage, as caffeine and other stimulants increase the risk for certain unpleasant side effects including insomnia, jitters, heart palpitations, anxiety, gastrointestinal upset, headache, and more.

Anyone who has an allergy or sensitivities to stimulants, like caffeine, should avoid taking this product. In addition, it would be wise to first speak with your medical practitioner about your intentions to use this product, especially if you have a health condition or are currently taking supplements or medications.

The suggested dosage is to take between 1 and 3 tablets daily, each with a full glass of water. Users are recommended to start with 1 tablet to test their tolerance.
